Funding from the Neumark Foundation has enabled North Wales Young Carers to provide local schools with a range of support, helping them to identify pupils who are young carers, to assess the impact of their educational outcomes as a result of their caring role and to provide respite opportunities. It is the collaborate and supportive way the Foundation works with organisations like ourselves that makes them such a force for good in the local community.

Starlight are so grateful to The Neumark Foundation for their donation to fund gaming carts for seriously ill children in hospital. They have been fantastic to deal with, listening carefully to our needs and have been open to conversations around our requirements. There are a lot of children in hospitals across North Wales who are now benefitting from the power of play, thanks to The Neumark Foundation.

The Neumark Foundation have been incredible. We are so grateful for your support, believing in what we do and allowing us to do what we do more and better every year. Without your support, we would not be able to provide young people with the help they need, so thank you!

They truly care about the positive impact for each Deaf children and young people and without them, we would not be able to do the work we are doing in North Wales.

We wish to thank The Neumark Foundation for their full backing to the opportunities that Panathlon can provide and to continue to deliver experiences for young ALN children across North Wales. Panathlon has provided sporting and physical activity events at both mainstream and special schools starting with a small number of competitions, to now engaging in a wider range of sports / competitions and to the wider North Wales area on the back of Neumark Foundation funding. From pupil voices, we know that they value what both organisations provide and raise the profile of Inclusive Sport and the perception of what ALN children can do.

For over 8 years, The Joshua Tree has been dedicated to supporting families affected by childhood cancers in North Wales. The demand for our vital services continues to grow, and thanks to the generous funding from The Neumark Foundation, we have been able to expand our reach. This support has allowed us to offer more emotional, health, and wellbeing activities across North Wales. The Neumark Foundation has been incredibly supportive, always ready to provide advice, guidance, and innovative ideas. We are deeply grateful for their ongoing commitment and support.

The Neumark Foundation’s support has been a refreshingly positive experience, from initial contact to application and ongoing support, the foundation is one of the select few funders who take the time to listen and understand the needs of organisations. The funding we have received has enabled us to make significant improvements to our popular children’s and youth activities, enabling us to strengthen what we do well, and make changes to improve on our weaknesses. The funding has helped us to move closer to realising our vision for a Brighter Future in Rhyl.
Shane Owen CEO Brighter Futures Rhyl
