At our last Board meeting, our Trustees were delighted to approve funding for local theatre and arts-based project, The Denbigh Workshop.

Run by Tracy Spencer Jones, this charity was set up in 2016 to focus on personal and community development, and positive change.

Tracy said “We are passionate about the transformative ability of the arts to boost well-being, improve environments and engage with communities. We build confidence and self-esteem using drama and theatre techniques.”

The funding we are providing will help subsidise the cost of their Saturday Youth Theatre to provide opportunities for around 35 local young people every week to work with professional actors to build confidence, improve communication skills and increase a sense of belonging.

We are very proud to be able to provide support for this project. Well done to Tracy and the team at The Denbigh Workshop for the incredible, valuable work you do with young people in the local area.
