As we approach the end of term, we’ve had a lovely update from one of our funded projects, Little Sunflowers in Wrexham.
Sharon Evans, the centre manager writes “Today, was the last day of term, so we held our sports day and party. We had lots of fun and the children and parents took part in a running race, an egg and spoon race and a bean bag on your head race! Everyone took part and had badges to take home, it was beautiful to see the smiles and hear the laughter of everyone involved. We then shared a party with lots of lovely treats before ending with musical statues and bumps. It was a special time together for our children and their parents and carers. We thank Neumark from the bottom of our hearts for making our fun club possible.”
We are delighted to hear that the end of term celebrations fostered a real sense of community in the families that are able to access childcare at Little Sunflowers. At The Neumark Foundation we value making a difference in our communities, and Little Sunflowers certainly fulfil that need by providing an inclusive and supported service for families. Thank you for all you do and have a lovely summer!
