Rosalind our new Project Funding Manager is visiting our funded projects, to see for herself the fantastic work that is being enabled, thanks to funding from The Neumark Foundation. Today she had a great morning at Brighter Futures in Rhyl, where Shane was able to show her the scope and impact of their work. Rosalind loved seeing the workshops, sports areas, café and meeting Ellie, whose post as trainee Youth Worker is part of the support being given by the foundation.
She even discovered that Brighter Futures has Royal connections! An apple tree is blossoming in the garden that was planted by HRH, The Prince of Wales when he was Duke of Cambridge.
“Brighter Futures has strong roots in Rhyl, thanks to the dedication and commitment of the team here. The funding from The Neumark Foundation is giving opportunities and creating positive change. It was a real privilege to spend time with the team today. Thank you for allowing me to see your amazing work!”
