The Neumark Foundation has empowered our charity to provide significant services to brighten the lives of Deaf children and their families in North Wales today and in the future.
What is Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund?
Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund is a Deaf children’s charity based in Surrey, Hampshire, London and Berkshire. We have been in operation for over 10 years now since the Co-Founders, Brian and Karen Jackson, found out that their daughters, Chloe and Sophie were both Deaf. As a charity we fund Wishes which can range from funding a cycle helmet that fits with Cochlear Implants, BAHA’s and Hearing Aids; to working with Schools for Deaf children to ensure they have the best accessibility to their education. Often one of the biggest barriers to a Deaf child’s need is funding. Our aim is to work together with schools, parents and Teachers of the Deaf to identify what support is needed and to action the need swiftly. We are so thankful to The Neumark Foundation for making this possible through their commitment of funding to our charity. Together we will ensure that Deaf children do not face barriers that affect their mental health and wellbeing. Together we can reduce frustration and isolation.
We are really excited to be working with The Neumark Foundation and can’t wait to start working with families of Deaf children. The impact this will have on Deaf children and their families is going to be immeasurable.
