We accept funding requests from registered charities, charitable organisations, or individuals with a charitable project including Charitable Incorporated Organisations CIO. We do not accept funding requests from Community Interest Company’s CIC’s
We accept requests for funding from regional and national organisations, however only for projects taking place in and benefitting North Wales communities
We focus on funding projects that enhance the lives of children or young people up to the age of 26
Our key areas of focus are education, employability, wellbeing, isolation and/or social disadvantage
Funding is generally awarded to one-year projects. We will however consider funding multi-year projects (up to three years) if the project requires it — subject to satisfactory monthly reporting
To apply for multiyear projects (up to three years) you will need to show evidence of your funding strategy and planning for after the foundation funding period ends
For a year 2 or 3 application We will require evidence of your development plans to finance the project for after year 3.
Our policy is to favour revenue proposals over capital requests
We are unable to provide funding for organisations, who have not yet published their first year accounts
We consider projects on individual merit

The application process can take up to 6 weeks from initial enquiry to formally submitting an application. If you wish to submit an application for our next trustees meeting we would suggest you contact us a minimum of 6 weeks beforehand to ensure we have the time to complete our due diligence and pre-application checks. Any assessed applications made outside of these times can be carried forward for consideration at the next meeting.
Decisions on applications for funding will be made at our Trustee meetings. Our next Trustee meeting is the 7th January 2025 (applications by 9/12/24)
