Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund works with Woolly Shepherd to improve the acoustics within a school classroom or hall for deaf children. How wonderful do these sound clouds look? – Woolly Shepherd have dyed the wool to match The Neumark Foundation and CSSEF branding colours!
What are Sound Clouds?
Woolly shepherd are a UK based, acoustic panel manufacturer. They supply acoustic solutions like these sound clouds from natural fibres, with hundreds of installations around the UK. They carry out a detailed acoustic survey either onsite or, if this is not possible, a remote survey. This is to ensure the correct amount of acoustic absorption for each specific space.
Noise levels can be very overwhelming for deaf children as sound bounces around a learning environment, we are asking these children to work even harder to their hearing peers.
The shape, texture, feel and look of these sound clouds fit well into a school classroom or school hall. CSSEF are passionate about giving deaf children the best learning environment and by funding sound clouds through The Neumark Foundation, they can just do that.
