There are no words that can improve the situation for parents or families whose baby or child is going to die, or to improve the heartbreak and hole they leave once they have passed away. The best that we can do is to provide them with the best possible support available to make their time together as positive as it can be, and leave them with the best memories to take forward, as well as an ongoing pathway of support afterwards.
This is the reason that The Neumark Foundation are so incredibly proud to support Hope House Children’s Hospices / Ty Gobaith, through their Final Moments Matter Campaign, to help them continue and grow the incredible work they do and the support they provide, within their children’s hospices and in the community in Shropshire and North Wales.
There is no better way to understand how special this work is, and how important it is, than to hear from families themselves, so please, if you are able, watch the video below.

The Director of Fundraising & Communications at Hope House, Simi Epstein, said “The money we raise through our Final Moments Matter Campaign is critical as it funds all End of Life Care at both our hospices for one year. In just 36 hours, with the incredible generosity of our incredible Matchers like The Neumark Foundation and the community we serve, we raised a phenomenal £570,000 and we couldn’t be more grateful. At a time when everyone is being impacted by the cost-of-living crisis, the overwhelming support we received on the night was even more humbling. We will never forget the kindness of every single person involved, their passion for the work we do has ensured that Hope House Children’s Hospices will be here for every child and their family at the time when they need us most.”
Thank you to all of the teams at Hope House/Ty Gobaith for everything you do to provide the best possible support to families, at the worst possible times, to make their final moments together truly matter.
