On the 23rd June, The Neumark Foundation are sponsoring ‘The Heart of The Matter’ North Wales Conference, to be held at The Oriel House Hotel in St Asaph.
In partnership with Denbighshire Voluntary Services Council (DVSC), we have invited a range of speakers from government, voluntary services, local authority, third sector service providers and non-government funders, to encourage discussion around improving outcomes for North Wales Communities through social partnerships
Community services delivery, particularly following the Covid-19 pandemic, is impossibly over-stretched everywhere. Whether service delivery relates to public services, environmental services, health services, education, wellbeing support services or utilities, now, more than ever before, when need is outweighing service provision and delivery, it is so important that a collaborative approach, through social partnership is taken, to increase available services, and reduce the pressure.
In order to effectively collaborate, it is so important that every part of this partnership is transparent, understood, and effectively run. There are always improvements that can be made to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of services provision and delivery, and that is something that is really important to us, and social partnerships play a crucial part in this.
As a charitable foundation, we focus our efforts on providing financial support to charities, organisations and individuals whose work within North Wales communities, has a long-lasting, positive effect on children and young people’s welfare and quality of life. The projects we currently support, provide services within the areas of education, and also healthcare., and we know that positive collaboration reduces barriers to effective delivery and ensures that everyone can benefit.
